Does anybody have an update about the situation at Padang Besar Border. I will be there at the End of July. I am planing to take a taxi from Hat Yai to the Border and then cross it by foot. You can take a train from Pattani to Padang Besar via Pattani and Hat Yai in around 3h 40m. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Pattani to Padang Besar via Pattani Bus Station, Hat Yai Bus Station, and Hat Yai Bus Terminal in around 4h 30m. Train operators. State Railway of Thailand.
